We arrived in the afternoon and were initially given a 3-bed dormitory as booked, but it was given to others as a private room. However, the staff quickly resolved the issue by offering us a private room in another nearby hostel. The next day, we were asked if we could sleep in the extra bed of another guest's room, which wasn't ideal but it worked out. The location of the hostel near the station was convenient. Despite some drawbacks, overall, I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

The cleaning of the hotel (room and bathrooms) its very poor!! From the room we could ear the noise from the commum areas! The hotel is situated in one of the dangerous areas in Athenes, Omonia. I do not recommend it!

I recently had the opportunity to stay at this hotel during my visit to Greece and I must say it was a pleasant experience. the hotel's location near the main square in the centre of the city was absolutely convenient. Being just a short walk away from the bustling city center ensured easy access to various attractions and amenities.
Staying at this hotel was a positive experience, and I have no major complaints.

The location is close to the metro station. The free wifi is quite fast.
The entrance of the hotel is really weird, the atmosphere is strange inside, I will call this place Hostel with a lot of private room instead of Hotel. The equipment of the kitchen is old but usable. It is only a place for sleep!

The price is good.
It's not really a hotel. We share the toilettes and bathroom, it's so noisy, we hear that the people come and go, I could not fall asleep.

Convenient location, comfortable rooms, and helpful staff. We arrived late at night and were greeted warmly by the staff who quickly checked us in. Our room was cozy and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, within walking distance of central Athens. The staff was always available to answer our questions and offer recommendations on places to visit. we had a pleasant stay at Athens House and would recommend it to others looking for a convenient and comfortable hotel experience.

The hostel is in a very dirty and the criminal area of the city. To go out at night is not safe for life and money. Photos on the site does not correspond to reality, shared showers in a disgusting condition. There is no hot water and no cleaning. Sheets and towels were missing in the room, had to request them from staff.

We stayed in this hotel for a week and we must say that the location is great, so close to the centre and transportation. Despite being in the center of the city, we felt safe during our stay. The hotel facilities were basic but sufficient, and the cleanliness was up to the mark. We were happy with the services provided by the staff who were friendly and helpful.
No negatives from this hotel.

(+) next to the metro station cheap internet for free (-) you have to walk through prostitutes and their pimps to reach the door of the hotel, even in the morning It’s in a very horrible zone of Athens The buiding is kind of crappy, it smells in the entrance and the hotel is at the fifth floor You can hear all the noises of the street and of the others rooms from your bed People without the front key have to ring the bell to enter.. Even late in the night The receptionists are strange and not very kind.. We had to walk downstairs to look for money change! Also, they gave us a room with more than 2 beds because the others rooms were without balcony, but they said “maybe in the afternoon we’ll move you to another room, we don’t know if more people is coming” (?) The public shower worked in a very complicated way No towels in the room! The beds weren’t made

I recently stayed at a hotel in Athens and had a great experience. the location was ideal, right in the center of the city. Despite being in a lively area, the hotel was surprisingly quiet, allowing for a peaceful night's sleep. Additionally, the staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. The rooms were basic but comfortable, with the added bonus of air conditioning to beat the summer heat. Lastly, the breakfast provided by the hotel was delicious, offering a variety of options to start the day off right.
All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic.

That we left to go see the islands and that we could leave our stuff behind at the hostel we booked.
I didn't like the fact that you had to walk through prostitutes every night to get to the door of the hostel. Also, I didn't like the fact that every time I asked the front desk about anything to do in Athens or where the bus station was, the response was "I don't know" Ummmm don't you live here?! Hello, helping is part of their job.

I did not like it. It is located in a awful zone of Athens and the hotel is not good, kind of crippy. I will not choose it again.
